LongevityMed's Response to COVID-19

At LongevityMed we are aware of the anxiety that the Covid-19 virus is causing throughout our country. As a means of doing what we can to reduce the anxiety and risk of the virus transmission, we are implementing the following guidelines for the next couple of months for the practice.

  1. We are moving all scheduled office consultations with Dr. William Grant and Jennifer Bridger, PA to go to telephone consults only. If you have a scheduled appointment, assume it will occur by phone. If the time you have is not the best for you, call us, and we will provide a day and time that meets your needs for your consultation.
  2. Dr. Grant is, for the near future NOT requiring labs to be done at LabCorp. This is to reduce the likelihood of disease transmission in settings where multiple people have gathered, and many are ill.
  3. When you need your prescriptions refilled, call the clinic. They will be filled and shipped as has been done in the past.
  4. For patients needing HRT implants as their delivery method. We have moved to a schedule of patients at the clinic that staggers appointments so that there will not be another patient waiting for their appointment on-site while you are there. Again, this is to reduce the risk of virus transmission. If you have an appointment scheduled, we may need to adjust your time to meet this requirement. If we need to move your appointment time, we will call you to discuss the date and time options to meet your needs.
  5. If you have an appointment, and you have a cough or fever, please let us know. And, we highly encourage anyone with these symptoms to call their medical practitioner for an assessment. Also, if a patient or family member is experiencing any symptoms, has encountered someone who has been diagnosed with or pending the COVID-19 virus, and or if you have traveled internationally within the last 14 days, please make a staff member aware of this so we may reschedule your appointment.

We are all in this together, and it will take all of us to do what we can to reduce the spread and severity of the virus. Our safety and sanitation standards are high, and we are exceeding the minimum standards in our normal day to day practices.

The staff here at LongevityMed want you to stay healthy and want you to have the opportunity to stay in treatment while we adjust to our new normal. If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to call us at +1 (919) 850 0880.
